Learner Driving Lessons

As a beginner you be feeling quite nervous about learning to drive. This is entirely natural. You need not worry, with Saltire School of Motoring you are in expert hands! Take lessons with one of our fully qualified instructors using our modern dual controlled cars. (You can even charge your phone during your lesson if you wish!)

Your instructor will ask to see your provisional licence on your first lesson. If you wear glasses or lenses don't forget to bring them with you, your instructor will check you meet the required standard of eyesight on your first lesson.

Your driving lessons will always be structured around you. We offer 1, 1½ or 2 hour lessons and your training will proceed at a pace that suits you best. We will keep track of your progress throughout your training and gear your learning towards giving you the best chance of not only passing your test at your first attempt, but also being confident to drive safely on your own afterward.

Whatever your concerns your instructor should be able to offer you the right advice. All of our instructors are patient and professional and will help you to gain confidence and achieve your goals.
